We are thrilled to announce that Dawnvale has been appointed as the fit-out contractor for the highly anticipated Cut & Craft restaurant, coming to Mosley Street in Manchester in Spring 2025. As a Manchester-based company, we are immensely proud to be part of a project that will breathe new life into a historic landmark in our city.
Transforming a Historic Gem
The new Cut & Craft will occupy a stunning Grade II* listed building originally constructed in 1862 for the Manchester & Salford Bank. Designed by the renowned architect Edward Walters, the building boasts an impressive heritage, and we are honoured to preserve and celebrate this history while creating an exceptional modern dining experience. The space, currently a bare shell, will soon be transformed into a luxurious 9,000 sq ft venue with 150 covers, towering ceilings, and an opulent blue labradorite marble bar.
A Glimpse into Cut & Craft Manchester
Known for their venues in Leeds and York, Cut & Craft is famed for its all-day dining concept, premium steak cuts butchered on-site, and fresh seafood delivered daily. Their Manchester location will elevate this reputation with:
- Private dining in the vaults beneath the restaurant
- A sommelier lounge and private bottle lockers
- An Edward Walters private dining table
- A concierge desk and powder room
- Live music and world-class cocktails
- A gossip lounge and exclusive brand shop
Every detail has been carefully considered to provide guests with a vibrant and luxurious dining experience while honouring the building’s rich heritage.
Delivering Excellence
Studio Two Interiors, a Manchester-based design company, has been hard at work creating the stunning design for Cut & Craft. Their 3D visuals are nothing short of breathtaking, showcasing a perfect balance of heritage and contemporary elegance. We’re thrilled to partner with them to bring their vision to life, ensuring every detail is carefully executed ahead of the grand opening in April 2025.
A Milestone for Manchester’s Hospitality Scene
Cut & Craft Manchester will be a standout addition to the city’s burgeoning hospitality scene, joining other major openings such as Lina Stores, Chotto Matte, and Big Mamma Group in 2025. It’s an exciting time for Manchester, and we are proud to play a part in shaping its future.
Stay tuned as we share progress updates and behind-the-scenes insights into the transformation of this iconic building. We can’t wait to welcome you to Cut & Craft Manchester in April 2025—a space where history meets modern luxury.
