Dawnvale at the SVB Live Event Croke Park

Following the success of the Advanced Stadium & Leisure Design (ASLD) event, where Katie played a pivotal role, we were thrilled to learn she would be heading up the SVB Live event. Naturally, we were eager to get involved and decided to step in as one of the platinum sponsors for this exciting opportunity.

Sports Venue Business (SVB) has expanded its offerings under the SVB LIVE banner, introducing Global Networking Events and a Webinar Series. These are in addition to the SVB Global Report, which provides up-to-date data on New Builds, Renovations, and Major Refurbishments across the industry.

This year's event took place at the iconic Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland. Our team, accompanied by SpaceInvader Design, travelled to Dublin on Tuesday morning, giving us ample time to set up our stand ahead of the event. Once our preparations were complete, we checked into the Dublin One Hotel to unwind before the evening’s activities.

Tuesday evening kicked off with the event’s icebreaker session. Transportation was provided from the hotel to Aviva Stadium, where we enjoyed a brief tour and introductions. It was the perfect setting for some casual networking as we eased into the event’s proceedings.

Wednesday was the main event day, packed with insightful talks about the stadia and entertainment industries. The exhibition hall buzzed with opportunities to connect with industry professionals. As platinum sponsors, we ensured that every table in the event hall was equipped with bespoke Dawnvale notepads and pens, helping attendees capture key takeaways from the sessions.

Our own presentation, delivered by the combined forces of Dawnvale and SpaceInvader, was a highlight for us. Drawing from our extensive experience, we discussed the challenges faced when developing new hospitality venues within stadiums and arenas. We also shared insights into some of our recent projects, including the transformation at Birmingham City F.C. It was a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge and solutions with fellow professionals.

Although Wednesday evening was left open, many of the attendees were staying at the same hotel, allowing for continued networking and informal conversations over the day’s events.

Thursday offered another round of talks, and the networking continued. We made valuable new connections and reconnected with those we hadn’t had the chance to meet earlier. As the event drew to a close, we headed straight to the airport to reflect on the event and begin scheduling meetings with our new contacts.

A huge thank you to Katie, Cassandra, and the entire SVB Live team for organizing such a fantastic event. We look forward to participating again in the future!
